Villa Thai Sawan is a magnificent Thai-Balinese 8-bedroom villa tucked on the beautiful mountainside of Kalim Bay. The villa is only 5 minutes away from downtown Patong, yet completely private and quiet with its sea view to the front side and forested mountains to the rear side.
The villa was originally built in 2010 and has been updated and expanded until the current time, with the most recent refurbishment being in 2024. Thus, the villa has a fresh feel throughout. The property is located on 2400 sqm (1.5 rai) of flat, hillside land and offers 850 sqm of indoor living area spread over 8 interconnected buildings.
The majority of the spaces and rooms are laid out in a single storey ranch style with three of the primary bedrooms on second floors.
Villa Thai Sawan consists of 8 bedrooms that are well furnished and have their own ensuite bathrooms. The villa has an additional 1-bedroom apartment with a full kitchen, dining area, living room and bathroom, providing additional space, privacy, and convenience for large groups of friends and families.
ENTRANCE
Guests enter the property through a large electric gate and into the parking area that can accommodate up to 4 cars, several motorbikes and bicycles. A 15-meter covered walkway surrounded by water fountains leads to the hand-crafted Balinese entranceway and into the villa’s main building.
MAIN BUILDING
In the main building, guests can find a fully equipped kitchen, a large dining table crafted from a huge solid piece of Balinese wood, a breakfast counter, a living room with cable television, DVD player and sound system and a nicely decorated convenient washroom. The main building has two master bedrooms on the second floor.
OUTDOOR AND POOL
From the main building, guests can step outside onto a large, covered terrace area with another dining table and a sofa lounging area offering views of the pool, the sea, and the sunset. From here, guests can walk down to the pool and its surrounding lounging chairs and a huge awning covering an 8 seaters sofa, or they can follow the covered walkways leading to the south and north wings of the villa.
